Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2026.
Milash Brisbane respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
Who we are
Milash Brisbane is an eyelash extension and beauty salon at Anzac Square Arcade, 265 Edward Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000. You can contact us on 0423 412 500 or at milashbrisbane@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you book with us, visit the salon or contact us, we may collect:
your name, phone number and email address
your appointment history, the services you have had, and any notes our technicians make about your treatment, such as your preferred lash style
payment details, which are handled by our payment provider, Square. If you save a card for bookings or memberships, Square stores it. We can see the card type and last four digits, never the full number.
membership details if you join one of our memberships
anything you tell us in a message, an email, a phone call or through our website contact form
Health information
Before some treatments we ask about conditions that could make a treatment unsafe, such as eye infections, recent eye surgery, skin conditions or allergies, and whether you wear contact lenses. We ask only what we need to treat you safely. We use it only for that purpose, we keep it only as long as we need it, and we do not share it with anyone except where the law requires us to.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
book, confirm, reschedule and remind you about appointments
provide your treatment safely and keep a record of what we have done
take payment, including recurring payments for memberships
answer your questions
let you know about our services, offers and availability, if you are a client of ours
understand how our business is performing, so we can improve it
Marketing messages
If you are a client, we may send you emails or text messages about our services. Every message will say it is from Milash Brisbane and will include a simple way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at any time by replying to a message, calling us, or emailing milashbrisbane@gmail.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop appointment confirmations and reminders.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the businesses that help us run the salon:
Square, for bookings, payments, memberships and client records
Squarespace, which hosts our website
Google, which provides the analytics on our website
Meta, which runs Instagram and Facebook, if you contact us there
our reporting contractor, who analyses our booking and sales records on our behalf to help us run the business. They act only on our instructions and do not use your information for anything else.
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use established providers who take care of the information they hold.
We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
Our website and cookies
Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. They help the site work, and they let us see in general terms how people use it, for example which pages are visited and whether someone clicked through to make a booking. We use Google Analytics for this. We may also use advertising cookies from Google and Meta to measure whether our advertising works and to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although some features may not.
How we keep it safe
Your information is held in the secure systems of the providers listed above, protected by accounts only our team can access. We keep it for as long as we need it to provide our services and meet our legal obligations, and then we delete it or make it anonymous.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Call us on 0423 412 500 or email milashbrisbane@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about your privacy, please contact us first and we will do our best to fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
